Deliverance consists of more than three hundred distilled descriptions of violent scenes from horror films. In the texts all individual characters and motivations have been abandoned. What remains are only the physical acts of violence, detached climaxes.

Curtains is a modular work, based on cut-up and rearranged descriptions of violence in horror literature.

Transfixed (drone for a blackout) consists of a manipulated scene from the 1990 film Night of the Living Dead. A figure is frozen in a two-frame loop while fire licks at his head and arm. The scene becomes a time capsule of sorts, where the burning figure is in a state of continuous decay and rebirth.

Sustain (Never Fade) - DVD / 0'40" min. loop / 2007

Sustain (Never Fade) consists of a silent, seamless loop of a slowly burning car. The loop is an endless final scene; the soundtrack faded long ago, but the closing credits never appear.

The two plaques of the text piece I used to die here, adresses fictional violence, two acts of film violence are depicted out of context in a terse, clean-cut tone.

The videowork Shadow you is constructed from funeral scenes from feature films. The video is silent and split in four channels. The scenes have been carefully manipulated; the faces of all actors have been blurred and all the material have been conformed to a similar color scheme.

Jet is a work consisting of a series of black distortion pedals connected in a closed loop.

Line is a silent, fast-paced work made from snippets of motorsport accidents.

Veer is a silent work made from close-up clips from documentaries and instruction videos on bird hunting.

Velocity is a silent, fast-paced work made from edited close-up snippets from zombie movies.

Moment is made from a key excerpt from one of the last scenes in the feature film Blade Runner (1982, Directed by Ridley Scott) in which the android (Rutger Hauer) holds a short monologue before dying.

Module is a silent sequence of slow motion snippets from crash tests where all but the impact has been edited out.

Honestly is an edited, looped sequence from a television interview with Britney Spears. All but her highly produced, monologic answers have been edited out.
